Today, I am excited to share my Notion Subscription Tracker with you. First let me give you a brief overview of the layout of this page. On the left side of the page you can see a shortcut button for adding new subscriptions. This button allows us to quickly add new subscriptions, providing convenience, especially on mobile apps. Below that, there's an upcoming renewal section displaying subscription renewals for the next 7 days, serving as a reminder of upcoming subscription cycles.
At the top of the page, you'll find a breakdown of active, inactive, and the financial impact of subscriptions for each category including monthly & yearly expenses. Moving down, you'll see detailed information for each subscription, including price, next renewal date, and a renewal date counter. We can use the "New Subscription" button under the "quick add" section to add new subscriptions easily. Enter the subscription title and price, select a category status start date, and billing cycle. After selection, the system automatically calculates the next renewal date and provides a countdown timer.
This allows us to intuitively track the status of each subscription. Transitioning to the activate section, where we have the ability to manage our subscription services by either activating or deactivating them based on categories. Proceeding to the "active subscription" section, categorized for easy reference, we can visit this section at any time to modify the price, start date, and billing cycle. In the billing cycle selection you can choose between monthly or yearly payments, and the system will automatically calculate the next renewal date for the subscription.
Finally, here's a little tip: you can add the upcoming renewal module to your Notion home page or any frequently visited page. This way, you'll never miss the renewal dates for your subscriptions again.
